Hi! I’m Shelby; creator of Tamed Wild & the woman behind the Instagram @themoonincarolina. I am a Cancer Sun, Libra Moon & Leo Rising. I live in a 100 year old historical inn (turned private residence) in the Appalachian Mountains with my husband & daughter. (Our grown son lives in California)

Studies & Certifications
I am a reader of Tarot & Astrology and a Certified Past Life Regression (PLR) Hypnotherapist by the American Hypnosis Association. I am a Certified Jungian Life Coach with Creative Mind Method and a Holistic Business Coach. I studied with the Astrology University under astrology goddess Kelly Surtees, as well as other master astrologers in their program. I learned the art of horoscope writing from Rebecca Gordon. I completed the Applied Archetypal Astrology as well as the Applied Mythology advanced certification courses with Pacifica Graduate Institute. I continue to take courses weekly. My Hypnosis studies have been with Virginia Waldron and the NGHtification program, and the AHA. I am currently in a college level program working towards a Bachelors in Liberal Arts with a focus on Mythological Studies.
My Journey
Where to begin...My obsession with all things mystical, historical, and esoteric has always existed, however, I was raised Southern Baptist and didn't fully lean into my personal spirituality practice until adulthood. I had my first "real" tarot reading in my late 20's and have been hooked on the cards since. Astrology, Herbalism & the craft all came quickly and naturally for me and I felt like I had finally come home.

As a Business Coach, I guide with experience and intuition. I have over 20 years of experience in building successful and profitable businesses. I believe the only way to grow in any area of life is to approach it from a holistic perspective and examine it as a whole. That is what my program does.
